More from Michael Pollan
This is an incredibly interesting article by Michael Pollan in the NY Times:

The Rules
A Flexitarian
I'm mostly vegetarian - but there are some rules.
1. When I go out to certain restaurants (i.e.: Amada or Tinto in Philadelphia) I will eat meat since everything served there is incredible.
2. If I'm craving beef; I take it that my body needs something it has - so I'll go out and buy some organic beef to satiate the craving.
3. Sometimes there's nothing like Chilean Sea Bass off the grill with a fennel salad...
4. If I feel as though I'm going to inconvenience or offend a host I will take a small portion to appease (not the best reason, I know.)
5. Everything in moderation.
